DOTATOC is a somatostatin analogue that binds to somatostatin receptors that are often present in neuroendocrine tumors. The physiological distribution of this tracer is different from FDG. In this picture it also attaches to the liver, left, spleen, right, and kidneys, below (which are healthy). |
