Plasmid DNA. Test-tube containing plasmid DNA marked with a dye (ethidium bromide) that fluoresces under ultraviolet light. Plasmid DNA is seen as the yellow band at the base of the test- tube. This DNA sample was centrifuged, concentrated and purified in cesium chloride.
